new to crossroads?

We are so glad you are interested in finding our more about Crossroads!  We know it can be intimidating visiting a new church for the first time, so we hope this page will answer some of your questions.  And of course, you are welcome to call the church office or fill out our contact form, if you want to ask us anything!

1. Do you have Sunday School on Sunday mornings?  No, we don't have Sunday School.  Our children in 5th grade and below will attend Children's Church or Nursery while you enjoy the worship time.
2. What is a Sunday Worship Service like at Crossroads?  We believe in lifting our hearts to God in music, so the first part of our worship is focused on praise and worship music.  We have a contemporary style band that leads our church, but we also enjoy singing some of the old hymns, as well.  After the music, Pastor Morris will deliver the message for that Sunday.  We generally close with a prayer call for those who wish to receive prayer at the end of the service.   Of course, we try to have some variation, so some Sundays we have guest speakers or special music.  Whatever is going on, we are sure your heart will be touched.
3. How should I dress?  Come however you are comfortable!  On any given Sunday, you will see folks in anything from blue jeans to suits.  The average is probably what you would consider "business casual." 
4. When does Sunday Church end?  Usually around 11:45
5. What is the Wednesday Night Supper like?  We have a great time at the Wednesday night meals!  It's a wonderful time to meet folks and get to know them better.  Supper runs from 6:00-7:00.  The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for kids.  It's a good home cooked meal!
6. What is Wednesday Night Bible study like?  We break into several classes including adults, young marrieds, youth (teens), and children.  Each group has a different study they are going through.  The classes are very informal with plenty of conversation.
7. When does Wednesday Night Bible study end?  8:00.  We know mid-week services can be tough, so we try to wrap up on time.  But sometimes our classes are sooo much fun!
